Organic Cold Pressed Virgin Coconut Oil – You know that coconut oil fixes everything, right?

Vitamin E – Antioxidant. Good for your skin and to stop other oil type ingredients going off.

Jojoba Oil – Very similar to the skin’s natural oil, this helps to balance oil production.

Evening Primrose Oil – Anti-inflammatory and healing, hormone balancing

Organic Aloe Vera gel – Also contains Citric Acid, Vitamin C, and Potassium Sorbate. It needs this small amount of preservative as aloe contains a lot of water. This salt is the only added preservative in any of my products.

Beeswax – the only non-vegan ingredient. Nourishing and protective, locks in moisture.

Candelilla Wax – A glossy vegan wax made from plants. Conditions and protects skin.

Carnauba Wax – Another vegan plant wax, considered to be hypoallergenic.

Calendula – Classic skin soothing and healing herb. Anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, this sunny orange petal is also a potent anti-oxidant and skin brightener. Those fancy folks at Weleda seem to love it, so trust.

Chamomile – The magical flower of calm the fuck down. Soothing and calming to angry or irritated skin.

Comfrey – An amazing skin healer and pain reliever. Science says: “multiple randomized controlled trials have demonstrated the efficacy and safety of comfrey preparations for the topical treatment of pain, inflammation and swelling of muscles and joints in degenerative arthritis, acute myalgia in the back, sprains, contusions and strains after sports injuries and accidents” The therapeutic properties of comfrey are based on its antiinflammatory and analgesic effects. Comfrey also stimulates granulation and tissue regeneration.”1 Granulation is the thing your skin does in order to heal and grow new skin.   Comfrey may have practically magical powers. Do not use on wounds deeper than surface level or it could cause the surface to heal too fast.
